Speaking of crepes…

Was invited to dinner at an authentic creperie in Montparnasse. Apparently, this is where you can find the best crepes in town…there is literally one right after another along the tiny street Rue Montparnasse.

A lil history for ya: Seems crepes originated in Brittany, a region in the northwest of France. Since the Montparnasse  train station was the first stop on the way into Paris, travelers from the northwest quickly settled the area and set up shop, which is how Rue Montparnasse came to be Creperie-way.

Creperie Josselin is supposedly the best in town, but I suspect further test tastes will be required :)

This sparkling beverage from Brittany was delicious…a perfect accompaniment to the meal.

The classic: jambon, oeuf, emmental (+ spinach…I’ve been craaaving veggies)
