Rata-ramen-touille

When you are living on a student budget (esp. in Paris), and only have a hot plate and a mini fridge, preparing dinner becomes an exercise in creative thinking.

Last night’s invention of what I like to call  “rata-ramen-touille,” brings new meaning to “East meets West.”

Ingredients:
Top ramen noodles (any flavor)
Canned ratatouille (assorted vegetables prepared in the Provençal way)

Preparation:
Heat ratatouille in pot on hot plate
Boil water and pour over ramen noodles
Discard flavor packet
Strain noodles
Mix with ratatouille

Et voila!!!

tastes like spaghetti, takes 5 min, costs only 3 euro, and makes enough food to feed me twice!

with a lil wine, cheese and bread on the side, you won’t find me complaining :)
