Book shelf porn

New obsession: book shelf porn. These photos are amazing. Especially love the one of Lagerfeld’s library, which itself looks like an open book. “Karl Lagerfeld’s books cover every wall of his studio from the ground, up two stories, to the skylights. Plus he owns the bookstore that is right next door.” – Todd Selby (The [...]

Missoni a burner!

“PARIS — ‘It’s inspired by us at Burning Man,” said Margherita Missoni, referring to her friends Eugenie Niarchos and Tatiana Santo Domingo and their exploits at the ultimate hippie festival in Nevada’s Black Rock Desert.” – NYTimes (full article here) Hmm…not how I remembered it, but love the source of inspiration!

Spanish Moss

I covet. The selection of vintage dresses at Spanish Moss online store is not to be believed. If they had free shipping to Europe (as they do in the US), my bank account would be in serious trouble, and wardrobe would be in need of expansion!

Gypset

Free ‘P’ Star (8 rue Ste-Croix-de-la-Bretonnerie) was super crowded, so it must be great…but made me to clastro to explore the racks. The third store, Noir Kennedy (22 [...]

Palais Royal treasures

Along the corridors of the Palais Royale, just past the Buren columns and the tourists enjoying them, one can find a smattering of unique antique shops, vintage stores and art galleries. Here are some of the interesting sights captured on my last venture through this old palace.
