Black Keys at Le Pompon

Prior to their sold out show at the Bataclan, the Black Keys put on an impromptu party at Le Pompon, a gorgeous new hot spot in Paris  (which feels more like a NY bar than anything I have been to in Continental Europe). They worked the decks from 8pm – 2am, amidst a sweaty and crowded dancefloor in the intimate space downstairs. The line to get to this guest-list-only coveted area was long, but the wait was well worth it, as the Black Keys played what else, but really really great rock n’ roll that kept us moving all night long. What a great night.
